Waitlist and contact information. When you submit your email address via the waitlist form, we store that address and the date of submission. We do not collect any other personally identifiable information at that stage.
Advocate account information. If you join Helmpoint as an advocate, we collect your name, email address, Twitter / X account identifier, payment details (processed via a third-party payment provider), and any profile information you provide.
Public social media data. For advocates, we analyse publicly available posts on Twitter / X to assess topical alignment for campaign matching. We do not access private messages or any non-public data.
Usage data. We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, referring pages, and timestamps. This data is used for security and performance monitoring and is not used to build individual profiles.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:

5. Data retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Advocate account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to seven years thereafter for financial and legal compliance purposes. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
